Subject: Campaign Loading Screen Bug on PS5
Hi there,I recently picked up Attack at Dawn on PS5 and was really excited to start a campaign as the British. I completed the first scenario, but after it ended and the game moved to the loading screen, I became stuck — I couldn’t exit, or progress further. It seemed completely frozen on that screen.
I lost the scenario but was looking forward to seeing the video map and getting a glimpse under the fog of war. I tried everything to resolve the issue:
Restarted the game
Switched controllers (in case it was a hardware issue)
Fully rebooted my PS5
Unfortunately, none of these steps fixed the problem.
Out of curiosity, I played the First Battle of El Alamein scenario — it ran smoothly and was a great experience. So I decided to try the 1941 campaign again, and after finishing the first scenario, the same issue occurred: stuck at the post-scenario loading screen with no way to exit.
I love the game so far and completely understand it's early in its PS5 release cycle. I just wanted to report this issue in case it helps with patches or future updates. Let me know if there’s any workaround — I’d really like to continue the campaign!

I have not found a way around it yet I have messaged ocean media and have yet to hear back and since tried both the German and British campaigns again to no avail I am as well a bit frustrated but still pleased with the game as the scenarios are still really good and the system is very unique

I am having this exact same issue on PS5 and was wondering if you ever found a workaround for it? I've been enjoying the game otherwise, so it is a little frustrating not being able to progress in the campaign. Hope they get it fixed soon!

I'm glad you like it! Yes, we are developing a sequel, set in WW2 Eastern Front. Not a DLC, but an entire new game. It should be a very upgraded game, but more on that when the time comes..
